So naturally when I came across www.YouGotBeer.com I was intrigued. Basically, if you wanted to buy me a beer and send it via email you could open your browser and your wallet and send a $5.00 "YouGotBeer" gift card. The gift card arrives via
Ok, so the downside is that you have to consume your gift at TGI Friday's, Chili's or the like but it's still a free cup of cold barley soup!
When you care enough to send the very best... When you owe someone a drink but don't have the time... Or when you like someone, just not enough to sit down and drink with them... Click a Pint.

What a brilliant scam! I'll be the first to Buy. So congrats on your run, enjoy!
Sounds like a great Christmas gift!
I don't think you can find it out East but if you're ever out West here, check out Bristol Brewing Co. and New Belgium Brewing Co. Most beer-drinking Coloradans believe you haven't lived until you've had a Fat Tire.
Cheers!!
I came across your comment on my blog and decided to come around for a visit. How nice to see another runner's blog about one of my favourite subjects - beer!
A gift card for beer? Well, now I know what I'll be asking for from all my friends for Christmas!
As a side issue, oddly enough, I used that same image of the pints on an evite a few months back, cropped in just the same way. Weird coincidence. Great image though.
Suddenly I'm very thirsty...
I'd rather have a good micro-brew than the mass produced stuff that can be sold in a can. It's funny to go to restaurants in the midwest - they look at you funny when you ask for a beer selection. If you like the yougotbeer site, you should look up the 'beer of the month' clubs - you get imported beers delivered every month - like it's your birthday all year round!
omg - that would be the gift I would buy someone i hated! TGI Fridays?! Damn. And I think your comparison is an insult to barley soup ;)
great seeing you yesterday.
nice - i love the concept. too bad it can't be consumed at my local brewery!
I'm not a big beer drinker, but I like good hefeweizen with pizza. Yougotbeer.com is a great idea ...
