After stretching, strengthening, foam rolling, icing and resting what’s left in my left knee is soreness.
Weeks into an effort to pull my athletic self together I found my fast on the back half of a 10 miler. I also found that my Achilles’ Heel is actually my left achilles tendon.
I’m not sure what’s left but I’ll try to make it right.

Money and knees are the two things that have kept me from many a running dream. It is frustrating, to say the least.
But Miami is a great race and it'll stick around for a long time (even if they are getting a new sponsor- just something I've heard).
So, maybe I'll see ya there in 2010!
Take care of the knee.. the race will be around, but your knee may not if you don't take care of it.
i'm sorry about the knee but better to take care of it now.
your left knee and your left ankle? damn, i hear you, i've been there. (why are lots of hellgaters struggling with knee issues right now?!)
re: the travel costs - can't your company help you out ;)
You do have 100% of your life left, make sure you use it wisely. There's no money left in the checkbook because you have a little munchkin . . .
I just booked my flight down to Tulsa for the Route 66 Marathon, but am waiting for my next paycheck to actually register! Let's just hope they don't sell out.
Also, hope your knee starts making a miraculously recovery! Mysterious knee injuries suck.
ill be doing miami on 1/25...i think i lucked out...found a dirt cheap R/T ticket for $153!
Well at least it's all things that contribute to a "higher" knowledge and make the situation ok!!!!!!!!!
Really like your know blog-look.
